Macadam Fairies is a pop fantasy role-playing game. It's like fantasy, but set in our contemporary world, with a healthy dose of pop culture.
The characters are Runaways who, as children, got lost in one of the magical kingdoms that border our universe, the Centerworld. There, despite themselves, they reconnected with their own supernatural origins and brought back traces of the magic that is so lacking in the Centerworld. As adults, they have forgotten the details of this episode in their lives. However, little by little, the magical reality is coming back to them.
A countdown is underway, at the end of which the supernatural creature will awaken. That is why, driven together by a common curiosity or an urgent need, your players' characters have organized themselves into a “fairy circle.”
This can take various forms; they can be YouTubers specializing in urbex and mysterious places, or even private detectives of the supernatural, monster hunters, members of the supernatural police, or even members of a secret society.
