The sun rises over the city of Jomsborg. The two Viking clans are ready to fight. The Jarl is about to land on the land of the Viking King. The drakkars are at sea, the warriors are lying in wait and the weapons are sharpened. The battle promises to be epic! Brutality and power are the Vikings' goals.
The goal of the game is different depending on who you play, the Jarl or the King.
If you play the Jarl, you are the attacking player and your goal is to encircle the king on all 4 sides so that he can't make any more moves.
If you play the King, you are the defending player and your goal is to escape through one of the 4 fortresses that border the city.
Move your troops across the map to gain the upper hand over your opponent. To annihilate an opposing Viking troop, you must surround it horizontally, vertically, against the walls of a fortress or against the edge of the board.
The game ends if the King is surrounded by 4 attackers or if he manages to reach one of the fortresses in order to escape.
