L'Heur du Crimes, a complete scenario for the role-playing game Crimes

Crimes is a historical role-playing game set in the Belle Époque and rooted in the tradition of 19th-century classic, fantasy, and horror literature.

Crime is the central theme of this game, whose founding principle is “Decadence”: according to this law, anyone responsible for a criminal act, whether a person, a society, or a civilization, must pay the price through progressive decline. Thus, the passions and deviances of the characters lead them inexorably towards their own hell: physical degeneration, madness, or other curses...

The official scenarios in the range cover the period from 1870 to 1914. However, the themes addressed and their treatment could easily be adapted to other periods, more or less historical, other genres, or even other universes...

This is what we offer you with L'Heur du Crimes: stepping outside the official canon to explore the possibilities offered by the different elements that make up the DNA of Crimes.

Strasbourg, November 1918.

The population of Alsace anxiously awaits the outcome of the war. The defeat of the German army is gradually sinking in, but far from giving way to euphoria, the feeling of imminent liberation gives rise to the most terrible rumors. The inhabitants are convinced that the city has been mined and will explode as soon as the last German soldier leaves. The city is on the brink of chaos and the civil guard, created in haste, faces many challenges.
