The Oranienburg Canal was built between 1832 and 1837 in Brandenburg. As the Havel River was difficult to navigate near the Oranienburg mills, a canal was built from the Havel and crossed the old Ruppin Canal, forming the Oranienburg Canal Cross.
During the industrialization of the 19th century, numerous companies and businesses settled on this important waterway. Additional streets and railroads were also built.
In Kanal, you erect new industries and shape the infrastructure by building roads, streets, railroads and canals. Most important of all are the bridges that connect the buildings. To do this, you have access to various actions that you select at the right moment.
At the end of the game, the player with the best industrial zone and infrastructure wins.
