Northlands Worldbook, a Norse campaign setting for Tales of the Valiant and D&D 2024
Tales of the Valiant: Northlands Worldbook - Limited Edition offers a comprehensive guide to a Norse-mythology-inspired "Northlands" setting, designed for the Tales of the Valiant RPG and D&D 2024 (5.5E). It can be integrated into the Midgard World or used as a campaign overlay for any high-fantasy world. The roughly 288-page book brings together mechanics and lore inspired by the Viking sagas.
Character options, rune magic, and Viking life
Tales of the Valiant: Northlands Worldbook - Limited Edition includes 8 subclasses (such as the Path of the Titan Barbarian, the Skald Bard, or the Nornbound Cleric), 5 new species (Bearfolk, Giantkin, Trollkin, Beastkin...), over 80 spells and magic items centered on rune magic and fate, dedicated rules for sailing, ship combat, and raiding, as well as social and honor systems (Flyting, Holmganga duels, reputation). A bestiary of over 50 monsters, legendary figures like Fafnir and Jormungandr, 9 factions, and "drop-in" locations round out the book.
