Description

NM142 is a Norwegian missile tank-hunter vehicle (Rakettpanserjager) based on the M113 APC. The NM142 mounts a turret containing a TOW guided anti-tank missile system, with one launch tube on each side of the turret in a concept broadly similar to the US M901. This TOW turret was developed in Norway by the Kværner Eureka engineering company.

The commander’s hatch mounts an MG3 machine-gun as a secondary armament. The NM142 has a crew of four, a commander, a gunner, loader, and driver.
