Description

The Buccephaloi were the sacred guardians of the most sacred sites. Dressed in magnificent ceremonial robes, these simple, pious guardians were chosen from among the most powerful of the Thyrean Minotaurs, their horns ritually cut off as a sign of devotion and submission to Hazlia.

Such was the power and majesty of the Buccephaloi that it was only in death that they were called to battle, whereas while alive, no one dared oppose them.
