Dice Throne – Starter Set is the entry point into the Dice Throne series, published by Roxley Games. Often described as "fantasy Yahtzee" combined with a tactical card game, this set lets 2 to 4 players battle in duels: each player controls a hero with unique powers and aims to reduce their opponents' health to zero.
On their turn, a player rolls their five dice (up to three times, Yahtzee-style) to form combinations and activate their hero's abilities. They spend Combat Points (CP) to play cards that upgrade their abilities or manipulate dice rolls, and apply status effects to buff their hero or debuff their opponent. Each hero plays differently, with its own complexity level.
The Starter Set gathers four heroes with varied styles: the Barbarian (simple and offensive), the Moon Elf (status effects and evasion), the Pyromancer (high damage) and the Shadow Thief (tactical, poison and stealth).
