Egoism, the collectible playing card deck by Thirdway Industries
Egoism is a collectible playing card deck published by Thirdway Industries and designed by Giovanni Meroni. It is not a board game with its own rules, but a standard deck reimagined in the geometric, colourful and symbolic art style of its creator. Conceived as Thirdway Industries' "house" deck, it revisits the classic French court figures around a theme of individualism and psychology. Its originality lies in this graphic care and the narrative universe that accompanies most of the publisher's creations.
A deck usable for any classic card game
Following the structure of a 52-card deck, Egoism can be used for any traditional card game (poker, bridge, tarot, solitaire…). The number of players and the duration therefore depend on the game you choose to play. It is also a collectible in its own right: Thirdway Industries decks are known for their metallic inks, careful finishes and, sometimes, hidden visual details for enthusiasts.
Two artworks to choose from: Egoism Rust and Egoism Ivory
Egoism is available in two artworks with distinct moods: Rust, with reddish and gold tones, and Ivory, with a light, coppery dominant. Each version stands out through its palette and tuck box, while sharing the same design philosophy. Between playful use and collection, Egoism appeals as much to players wanting a beautiful deck as to fans of artist playing cards.
