Poison Aspis, a Deck by Thirdway Industries

Poison Aspis is a deck of cards designed by Giovanni Meroni for Italian publisher Thirdway Industries. Featuring 52 custom cards, it can be used with classic card games (poker, rummy, bridge, blackjack) as well as magic and cardistry. Its originality lies in its setting: a fictional 1920s America centered on a druggist named John B. Trayer and his toxic concoctions, blending vintage pharmacy aesthetics with alchemical symbols. The court cards depict poisoners or poisoned victims, in a deliberate ambiguity.
