Description

Incubo Mezzanotte ("Midnight Nightmare") is a collectible playing card deck published by Thirdway Industries and designed by Giovanni Meroni. It belongs to the Incubo series, which explores the darker side of the mind: nightmares, buried fears and the confusion of the subconscious. Each card represents a different nightmare, in a surreal, unsettling and deliberately ambiguous aesthetic.

True to Meroni's geometric art style, the deck stands out for its one-way court figures (non-symmetrical illustrations covering the whole card), making them genuine portraits of terror. A recurring motif — a caged raven holding a key — runs through the series. As the main ("midnight") edition, Mezzanotte features a luxurious finish: an Italian black paper tuck box with double matte foil, embossing and a holographic interior. Usable for any classic card game, this deck is above all a collectible for fans of dark universes.
