Description

Eva Noire is a collectible playing card deck published by Thirdway Industries and designed by Giovanni Meroni. The "dark" version of the Eva deck (2017), it is dedicated to the "first women" of various cultures and mythologies: Eve, Pandora, Lilith and Pyrrha, each tied to a suit. For each suit, the court figures (Jack, Queen, King) tell a stage in the character's story, in its creator's modern, symbolic art style.

The deck stands out for its black background (faces and backs) enhanced with four metallic inks (green, red, gold and pure silver). All court figures are female characters, the aces act as an "epilogue" to each story, and the jokers evoke the relationships between these women and the men of their myths. Usable for any classic card game, it is above all a narrative collectible, intended for a mature audience.
