Darwin's Journey follows the journey of Charles Darwin to the Galapagos Islands.

It is a worker placement game that features an innovative worker progression system where each worker will have to study the disciplines that are a prerequisite to perform several actions in the game.

His adventure through the Galapagos Islands, contributed to the development of his theory of evolution.

The game features an innovative worker progression system. Players take turns placing a worker on the board to perform one of the many actions on the board: sailing, exploring the islands, training, collecting specimens and donating them to the museum or corresponding with Europe...

Many actions and objectives are possible and give victory points. The player with the most victory points wins. The workers all have a speciality, as the game progresses the players can make them evolve to make them more efficient.
