Description
The Wallachian clan was once one of the most powerful vampire clans, its founder aspiring to the role of vampire lord, the dominant figure of all clans, endowed with the power to settle disputes and collect tithes from all clans. However, the ambitions of this rich and powerful clan were crushed under the yoke of a cruel and ruthless elder. Several centuries ago, on the day the blood pact was to crown Wallachian as vampire lord, a mysterious uninvited guest joined the assembly and challenged him. The fight was brief, and the mysterious vampire tore Wallachian in two and proclaimed himself vampire lord. That night, no clan raised any objections.
Even Wallachian's first descendant was forced to kneel and submit to the new lord. However, to honor his ancestor, he renamed himself Wallachian, and the vampire lord agreed to let the clan keep its name, but not its power.
The Wallachians were stripped of all their lands and lairs, and their vampire servants were enslaved in the ranks of the vampire lord. The remnants of this once-proud clan were relegated to a small mountainous region, in a ruined underground palace. However, the blood of this once-powerful clan still holds power.
