Richard the Lionheart and the Angevins have allied themselves with the knights of the Holy Roman Empire in an attempt to conquer the city of Jerusalem and reclaim the Holy Land from the Ayyubid dynasty of Saladin and the Turkmen.

Fight to take control of the cities and deserts of Palestine. Plan your moves with your allies before turning on them and securing victory for yourself. Send your cavalry and siege engines into battle, but don’t forget they need water.

You don’t want your army to die of thirst before they’ve even faced the enemy. In Third Crusade, you lead an army of the Muslim Alliance or the Crusader Alliance in the early 1190s. Your goal is to gain glory by conquering and controlling regions, as well as by defeating enemy armies.

Fight together, claim victory as a united army! But make sure you are remembered as the hero of this victory.
