The rules of Azul Mini are identical to those of the original Azul game, focusing on strategic tile placement and pattern building. Players take turns drafting beautifully coloured tiles and placing them onto their personal player board. The goal is to create the most aesthetically pleasing and high-scoring pattern by filling rows and columns on the board. To add an extra layer of strategy to each decision, penalties are also given for unused tiles. The player with the highest score at the end of the game wins
