Engage in a samurai duel while adhering to the codes of this film genre. First come the words of challenge, then the exchange of glances, and finally the whistling blades. No step is more important than the others, and the outcome of the confrontation is never guaranteed when honor matters as much as spilled blood.
1: The Challenge
On your turn, announce which resources you wish to obtain by playing face-down cards. If your opponent questions your claim, reveal your cards. The player who is correct resolves the effect and keeps the announced cards.
2: The Stare
On your turn, spend resources to gain a card’s abilities, or give the card to your opponent to earn those same resources.
3: The Duel
Simultaneously, play a card face down. Reveal them to determine who lands a blow on the opponent.
