Zoo Tycoon: The Board Game - New Shores - Deluxe adds 34 new animal species (232 screen-printed meeples) to the game, with a special focus on aquatic animals, Australian wildlife, and the polar regions of our planet.

Dive into aquatic worlds populated by manatees, sea turtles, zebra sharks, and much more. Feel the cool breeze in the new enclosures housing polar species such as the majestic polar bear, penguins, and musk oxen. In addition, Australian wildlife takes center stage: crocodiles, kangaroos, and koalas are sure to attract many enthusiastic visitors.

Discover three different biomes with 24 new main species (represented by over 230 beautiful animal meeples) and 10 co-species. What's more, a large vivarium is now an integral part of your zoo. Choose from 48 animal species (fish, reptiles, amphibians, and many more) to fill the vivarium however you like. Once again, it's up to you to decide which direction you want to take. Will you design your vivarium with a focus on conservation, education, or popularity?

Gameplay

New Shores complements the gameplay of Zoo Tycoon: The Board Game without making it more complicated. With a brand new animal market featuring 3 new biomes and over 80 new species, there's a lot to discover and familiar strategies to rethink. In addition, reptiles, aquatic/semi-aquatic animals, and the vivarium bring exciting changes to the game mechanics. The vivarium, in particular, offers new strategic options that you should take advantage of. This keeps the game experience familiar yet refreshing.

Thanks to the modular animal trading system included in New Shores, you can mix and match old and new species to create endless combinations and have even more fun in your zoo. Zoo Tycoon: The Board Game has never been so varied!
