Vaesen, the horrific role-playing game based on Scandinavian myths and legends
Welcome to the mythical North, the Northern Europe of the 19th century, but not as we know it today. A land where legends are very real. A cold region covered in vast forests, where a few cities are lighting up, beacons of industry and progress heralding the dawn of a new civilisation. But in the countryside, life is still governed by the customs of yesteryear. The inhabitants are well aware of what lurks in the dark. And that it's best to be afraid.
Vaesen - The Scandinavian Horror Roleplaying Game is a game by Nils Hintze based on the work of Swedish illustrator and author Johan Egerkrans. Vaesen features a dark gothic setting steeped in ancient Scandinavian myths and folklore. The game rules are based on an adapted version of the Year Zero Engine.
