To gain energy points, carefully call upon the Celestial Spirits and master your Yin-Yang.
But you can also choose to make a pact with the Spirit Nian Shou to sow chaos and reign as tyrant over the world...
Beyond is a competitive game: the player with the most energy points wins.
Collect 4 cards representing one of the celestial spirits to secure energy points.
You can obtain these cards through 4 possible mechanisms:
- push your luck when drawing cards
- use tokens in exchange for cards
- steal cards from other players, using the back of your cards
- special effects in advanced mode with your tokens
The game ends when a player has completed 3 spiritual models (4 cards each). All players complete the round before keeping score.
Unless a player manages to collect all 6 Nian Shou cards, the game is immediately won.
