Description

The Bf 110 was the twin-engine counterpart of the smaller Bf 109. It was designed as a long-range fighter but was also used as a reconnaissance and light strike aircraft, and a highly successful night fighter. Its size put it at a disadvantage against smaller, more manoeuvrable single engine fighters.
