Traces of War

Description

Traces of War is a two-player wargame, but with strong solo playability, by Tetsuya Nakamura, also author of games like A Victory Lost, Fire in the Sky or Storm over Stalingrad. It simulates the intense fighting between Axis and Soviet forces after the Battle of Kursk, from August 1943 to March 1944. Will the Soviet steamroller succeed in breaking through the German defense?

Scale: A hexagon represents approximately 20 kilometers of terrain from one side to the other. Each turn represents one month. Combat units are divisions for the Axis and corps for the Soviets.
