D-Day Dice: Atlantikwall, face off against a German opponent in this competitive mode
D-Day Dice: Atlantikwall is a major expansion for the dice-rolling game D-Day Dice, designed by Emmanuel Aquin and published by Word Forge Games. Previously a purely cooperative game, it now opens up to a genuine competitive mode: one player takes on the role of the German commander, representing the fortifications and the map itself, against the Allied forces. This player rolls their own Red/White/Black dice to gather resources and courage, and can draw from a secret Decorations deck, granting one-time abilities to trap or slow down the Allies (ambushes, map traps, negating bonuses…).
What D-Day Dice: Atlantikwall offers
The expansion includes 6 brand-new battle maps (including Omaha Beach II and Exercise: Fabius), a dedicated set of dice and German Specialist and Item cards, as well as additional content for the Allied nations. It also integrates the Battle Conditions deck (50 cards of random effects affecting all players at the start of each round) and the Badges mini-expansion (reward cards earned by rolling a "Battle Cry").
Requirements and compatibility of D-Day Dice: Atlantikwall
This is an expansion compatible with D-Day Dice (Second Edition), allowing up to 5 players (the 5th controlling the Germans): the base game is still required to use it.
