D-Day Dice: Codebreakers, the legendary unit of the Bletchley Park codebreakers
D-Day Dice: Codebreakers is a mini-expansion for the cooperative dice-rolling game D-Day Dice, published by Word Forge Games and designed by Emmanuel Aquin. It pays tribute to the cryptographers and intelligence officers of World War II, particularly those at Bletchley Park, famed for cracking the Enigma code.
What D-Day Dice: Codebreakers offers
The expansion introduces the "GC&CS" (Government Code and Cypher School) legendary unit, which replaces a standard national unit and stands out through a unique mechanic: instead of focusing on combat, its specialised servicemen let you replace a die result with the symbol of your choice, simulating the "decoding" of an unlucky roll to get exactly the resource you need.
Requirements and compatibility of D-Day Dice: Codebreakers
This is an expansion compatible with the Second Edition of D-Day Dice as well as the first edition and the standalone Pacific expansion: the base game is still required to use it.
