South Mountain 1862

South Mountain 1862 is Volume VI of Worthington's Civil War Brigade Battle series.

Thanks to simplified mechanics, series rules, and battle-specific rules, players can replay the Battle of South Mountain in 2 to 3 hours.

Brigade-level details: Each infantry and cavalry piece represents a brigade of 100 men. The colored boxes surrounding the force indicate morale (green, veteran, or elite). Each artillery piece represents 2 guns.

Assembled game board: Rigid, 56 cm by 65 cm assembled game board with historical details at 250 meters per hex.

2 sheets of counters: Based on extensive research on the order of battle, the counters accurately reflect the armies of the North and South.
