Dobble is a fast, fun family card game. The game comprises 55 round cards, each incorporating eight designs. Each card has a design in common with any other card in the pack. The aim of the players is to find the common design between two given cards as quickly as possible.
Speed and observation are essential to winning the game, and make Dobble a friendly and stimulating game for young and old alike. And since it only takes a few seconds to understand the game, players will never run out of partners.
Its small box makes it an ideal travel companion, slipping easily into a suitcase, bag or pocket. Dobble only needs a very small playing surface, so it's easy to get it out quickly on the move, whether in a café, bus, train, car or park.
Dobble is a concentrate of playful pleasure, since its small size actually contains five game variants:
The Well: players must discard their cards by finding the common symbol with the one in the center of the table.
The Towering Inferno: players win cards by finding the common symbol between their card and the first from the deck.
The Poisoned Gift: players try to win the fewest cards by finding the common symbol between another player's card and the first from the deck.
Catch Them All: players try to win the most cards by finding the common symbol between a card from the deck and one of the peripheral cards. This variant is played over several rounds.
Hot potato: players must find the common symbol between their card and another player's card, and pass their card (or pack) to that player. The player who collects all the cards loses the round.
