Tales of Nine 2: The Cursed Forest
Back from your journey of initiation, you don't recognize the forest of your childhood. What happened during your long absence? Fortunately, you're now a seasoned druid and can't wait to reach the heart of the forest to unravel the mystery...
The game turn is divided into 3 phases:
- The Hero phase, during which the player moves the Hero card onto another card and pays the latter's entry cost. He then retrieves the card from his “backpack”.
- The Monster Phase, during which any monsters that can move closer to the Hero.
- The Adventure phase, when the player completes the game zone.
You'll need to anticipate your movements and apply the various card effects to reach your goal and find the exit.
The player wins when the Exit card reaches the backpack.
An Infinite mode is also available, allowing players to play one game after another, trying to achieve the highest score.
