Ruse

Description

Gameplay

  • The player draws a tile, looks at it, and places it against at least two other tiles (nature, fox, or event side). If the tile is placed event side up, the player applies its effect and repositions it to nature side up.
  • The player may flip a tile if they wish. However, they must follow two rules:
    • Flip 1 fox tile if it is surrounded by 4 or more foxes,
    • or flip 1 nature tile if it has exactly 3 adjacent foxes. If an event tile appears, apply its effect and reposition it to nature side up.

End of Game

End Conditions
The game ends when a player can no longer draw a tile.

Scoring
Only the dominant color of foxes wins.

Tie
In case of a tie, each player flips a nature tile simultaneously until they have a majority of foxes.

Components

Fox Tiles
Red Fox: 10 tiles
