In our own reality, the First World War lasted more than four years, killing millions of people amidst vast destruction and the fall of the great empires of Eastern Europe. The Tsar's ships range from the modernised veterans of World War I to the new fast battleships. Although most of these ships never existed, they were designed on the model of Russian and Soviet warships and are the best estimates of what Imperial Russia would have built if the regime had survived.
