Complete a series of Yokai cards and earn points!

Humans are curious creatures, so when they encounter Yokai in the wild, they're eager to learn more about them. The youngest among them spend their time researching different woodland spirits and drawing everything they can observe in notebooks so they can learn more about them.

In Yokai Stretch, observe Yokai, the spirits of nature, in their dwellings to complete the best sketches. Play your cards strategically around the Yokai to gain a majority.

The aim is to score more Yokai points than the other player by completing sketches of the elusive forest spirits. The game consists of two decks of cards: one containing four types of Yokai, each associated with an element (water, fire, earth and wind) and a numerical value corresponding to victory points, and the other containing sketches made by humans, two of the four elements, and possibly a special ability.
The winner's sketch cards are placed in the discard pile, and those of the other players remain where they are, as they will be used for the next Yokai card of that type. If there is a tie in the number of sketches on both sides of the card, the Yokai is spooked and lost. In this case, neither player succeeds in completing the drawing, and all sketch cards on both sides of the Yokai pile are discarded. Sketch cards can also include powers: summoning the Yokai or distracting it into moving cards. The game ends when one or more Yokai piles are empty.
