This year is special. As the elders have predicted, during these two days of festivities, exceptional magical plants will sprout. As a scholar, you must send your apprentices to gather these leaves, flowers, and fruits, which are as ephemeral as they are magical, and bring the vegetation of this sacred place back to life. Prove yourself worthy of serving the goddess Salamandra and be elected Grand Druid for the next century!
Salamandra is played in 4 rounds (alternating between day and night). In each round, you will have a set number of apprentices to place and work to generate resources and Veneration Points, which are the game's victory points.
This is a “permanent worker placement” game in which you activate your apprentices to create temporary resources that you must use during your turn to:
- build new tiles that allow you to obtain the blessing of the Bear and Eagle deities
- activate Cauldron tiles, generating Veneration Points and scrolls that allow you to earn points at the end of the game
- pray to the Salamander goddesses for powerful bonuses
- pass through and study Groves
Everything in Salamandra is a source of rewards, but you'll have to play your best to carry out your strategy and win.
