A ruined abbey, where Saint Jerome's tears still fall
The Drops of St. Jerome is set in the ruins of an ancient mountain abbey, stitched tight by the limber branches of blackthorn. Legend tells that Saint Jerome gathered all the sorrows and griefs of an entire valley there, weeping for seven days and nights over suffering buried deep within the mountain stone.
Any soul touched by one of his tears is said to have their ailments instantly cured — a promise as tempting as it is unsettling for those who venture into these forgotten ruins.
A nine-room dungeon
The Drops of St. Jerome offers a tight nine-room crawl through the abbey's ruins, blending loneliness, forgotten history, and encounters both gross and scary. The module introduces 8 unique monsters, including giant badgers and a foul-smelling teenager, along with 5 powerful relics the author himself warns could break your game.
Three adventure hooks make it easy to drop this dungeon into any existing campaign, while new advancement procedures add to character progression within the Cairn system.
A ready-to-run module, with no prior prep required
The Drops of St. Jerome is designed for low-prep play: the Warden can run it directly from the text with minimal prior reading. Expect around 2 to 4 sessions to explore the full dungeon.
