Bram Stoker's novel, in its unredacted form
The Dracula Dossier: Dracula Unredacted restores the original text of Bram Stoker's novel, enriched with recovered material including the short story "Dracula's Guest" (originally the deleted first chapter), elements from the author's early notes, and the Icelandic version Makt Myrkranna.
In the world of Night's Black Agents, this novel is presented as the redacted report of a failed British Intelligence operation to recruit Count Dracula in the 1890s.
A fully functional game prop, annotated by MI6
The Dracula Dossier: Dracula Unredacted is filled with over 250 margin annotations, underlined passages, and handwritten notes left by three generations of MI6 analysts (from the 1940s, 1970s, and 2011). Every annotation corresponds to a specific entry in the companion Director's Handbook.
Handed directly to players at the start of the campaign, The Dracula Dossier: Dracula Unredacted lets them decide which leads to follow, with the Director then revealing the truth behind each clue chosen. Bound to resemble an old archival volume, the book is designed to work as a functional game prop as much as a novel to read.
