Each illustration on the main page is a character, an object, or an intention. To open a padlock and unfold a new flap, you must find the right drawing and color it in. You never color for no reason: it’s always a narrative action that responds to a request, unlocks a card, or triggers an event.
About a hundred cards orchestrate the story and unlock Mini-Adventures.
The rules themselves unlock as the game progresses; you don’t learn them, you discover them.
The adventure is played over several sessions, which you can resume whenever you want. On the other side, a black ink tide irreversibly covers the drawings. The only destructive element in the game...
