In this tile-laying game, players take on the roles of medieval nuns or monks whose mission is to create a magnificent illuminated manuscript.
Players select inks and, with varying degrees of cunning, acquire lecterns containing sketches that they must then draw on their parchment. Each sketch completed and each section of parchment finished quickly earns illumination points (victory points). As soon as one of the players finishes their manuscript or the sketches run out, the game ends. The player with the most illumination points wins the game.
