The Curse of Candelabria - Core Box is a game based on majority control, area control, and the presence of characters on the board, with a particular emphasis on atmosphere.
In this game, each player controls a noble house made up of living candles and competes to conquer territories on the board in order to earn points at the end of each of the three eras that make up the game.
On their turn, players create new living candles and assemble their multi-layered miniatures, place tea lights on the board, melt the candles that have been placed, activate their abilities, move around, and improve their house's castle. At the end of each era, a combat phase takes place, during which conflicts and majorities are determined and players receive points.
The goal of the game is to earn more points than the other players and become the new king of Candelabria.
Includes stretch goals unlocked during the crowdfunding campaign.
