New seekers of underground treasures The first expansion to Imperial Miners introduces 2 new factions. It allows players to pick 6 factions out of 8 available for each game and explore various strategies. Some of the new features include cards with dual functions depending on day and night, and cards offering effects depending on the cards in the player’s hand.
Weirdlings
Weirdlings are those who run away from the surface: Vampires, Werewolves, and Witches who couldn't find a home above. They live underground and only come out after dark.
How they play
The effects of Weirdling cards depend on the visible side of the Sun/Moon token. Control the cycle of day and night to trigger the card when it offers the most.
Aztecs
Aztecs come from warm, luscious lands. Their extraordinary scientific and cultural achievements allow them to rely not only on past accomplishments but also on visions of what is yet to come.
How they play
