A thousand years ago, the Kitara Empire was founded by the mystical Kings of the Bacwezi dynasty. The dynasty shone for many years over the region, allowing it to develop spectacularly. Ironworking, fertile lands, architecture, and herding had enabled the Empire's unprecedented growth.
After three generations, the Empire collapsed, fragmented among its heirs, now independent kingdoms. The palaces fell into ruins, and war loomed on the borders. Each took up arms to expand and reunite the great Kitara Empire!
Kitara is a game of conquest, based on movement and territorial control. With its innovative and ingenious hand management mechanics, it is as accessible as it is deep.
