CS Files is a game of deduction and deception for 4 to 12 players that takes about 20 minutes to play.

In this game, players take on the role of investigators trying to solve a murder case—but there's a twist. The killer is one of the investigators! Each player's role and team are randomly assigned at the start of the game and include the unique roles of forensic pathologist, witness, investigator, murderer, and accomplice. While the investigators try to deduce the truth, the murderer's team must deceive and mislead. It's a battle of wits!

The forensic pathologist holds the solution but can only express the clues using special scene tiles, while the investigators (and the murderer) try to interpret the evidence.  To succeed, investigators must not only deduce the truth from the medical examiner's clues, they must also see through the red herrings planted by the murderer and his accomplice!
