Each player embodies the leader of one of the 10 great races of the galaxy. Starting with only a single system, a small fleet, and ancient technologies, each must lead their civilization to galactic domination. To achieve this, each player is given a secret objective in addition to a number of public objectives that can be completed by everyone. Each of these objectives awards a certain number of victory points, with victory being achieved by the first player to reach a score of 10 points or by the player with the most points at the end of the last round (which occurs between the 6th and 10th rounds). A game round is divided into several phases, detailed below: Strategic Phase: During this phase, each player takes a strategic card using a mechanism similar to that of Puerto Rico.
