In Praetor, players take on the role of Roman architects tasked with developing a district of the imperial capital. Their goal is to construct buildings, optimize worker usage, and gain prestige to become the greatest builder in Rome.

The game features evolving worker placement mechanics, resource management, and tile construction. Its unique twist lies in the worker lifecycle: workers age throughout the game, become less efficient, and eventually leave your workforce. This forces players to constantly adapt their strategy.
