When the Apocalypse strikes, the weakest card wins, and a single bad trick can cost you everything!
As Rider cards are played, the Apocalypse tokens are flipped over one by one. When all active tokens are black, the current trick becomes an Apocalypse: the weakest card of the required color wins all the tokens in the trick.
Thanks to the Chaos and Tranquility cards, players can hasten the Apocalypse, dodge danger, and punish their rivals at the right moment.
The game is played over 3 rounds. At the start of each round, deal out Knight cards based on the number of players, as well as one Chaos card and one Tranquility card to each player. Players play tricks clockwise, following the suit led, unless they choose to play a special card.
Each Knight card flips its corresponding Apocalypse token; the Chaos card flips any token, is worth 5, and always counts as the suit led, while the Tranquility card has no value or suit and cannot win the trick.
In a normal trick, the highest card of the called suit wins only its own card. If all tokens turn black during the trick, the Apocalypse is triggered: the lowest card of the called suit wins the trick and takes all the cards played. After each trick, the winner chooses who leads the next trick. After 3 rounds, the player with the fewest points wins.
