Witness

The game is played over 3 rounds.

A role card is secretly dealt to each player.

The player who gets the Sheriff card is immediately revealed and has the onerous task of conducting the interrogations.

A certain number of clues are placed in the centre of the table, depending on the number of players, and the investigation can begin.

In each round, the Sheriff will be able to question each player about a single clue, and he will record the answers given by the witnesses.

From one round to the next, there are bound to be inconsistencies because the accomplices will lie. The players will then have to justify themselves and argue to prove their good faith, unless they lie even better...

At the end of the 3rd round, the clue cards are compared with the portrait drawn up by the Sheriff, and depending on the number of players and the number of errors, either the Sheriff and the witnesses win, or the accomplices and the thief win...
