A semi-cooperative game, similar to Scotland Yard, for children and their parents.
Goal of the Game
One player takes the role of Max, the ghost, hiding in Canterville Castle. The other players are the ghost hunters and are looking for Max.
Game Play
Max and the ghost hunters start the game in the rooms of their choice. Then everyone moves from room to room. Max is invisible and only shows up occasionally. The animals living around the castle determine when Max must show up. After each turn, an animal is removed from the board. As soon as all the animals of a type have been removed, Max must show which room he is in and how he got there. Max has a code of honor and will not enter the same room twice during the hunt. Unlike Max, the hunters can enter each room as often as they like. They try to push Max into a dead end to catch him.
