Sigismundus Augustus - second hand is a strategic historical board game in which each player leads a noble family in the 16th-century Polish–Lithuanian Commonwealth, competing for prestige, political influence, and military power during the reign of Sigismund II Augustus. The full title is Sigismundus Augustus: Dei gratia Rex Poloniae, and the game’s timeline spans from 1548 to 1572. 

Throughout the game, players manage a blend of worker placement, majority control, bidding and influence mechanics to deploy their agents in political institutions, build armies, form alliances, and engage in diplomatic maneuvers. Player interaction is significant, especially during the Sejm (parliament) phases and in head-to-head competition for strategic advantages.
