It had to happen! Mankind was finally extinguished. Only the tanuki survived.

The primitive Japanese animals threw away all the remnants of mankind, keeping only a few souvenirs. Not least the world's most beautiful surfboards! Now they're surfing like mad. An infinite space, free beaches and, every weekend, the great surfing battle where the waves rise then set ablaze.

This card game is like life. In the end, the winner is the one who manages to do something. The highest possible number of cards in the right sequence results in the longest wave. And it's on this wave that the winner takes flight.

Each turn, players draw a card of value one to twenty from the central pile of cards. Then they add their own row of cards. The aim is to arrange the cards in ascending order, but once you've placed a card in your row, it's turned face-down, and you have to remember where you placed each card.

The game ends when the stack of cards is exhausted. The player who has created the longest sequence of ascending cards wins the game.
