Unmatched is a skirmish game that allows you to oppose emblematic characters, each with their own fighting style with their strengths and weaknesses. The basic game offers four heroes, but many extensions allow to diversify more and more fights.
The first box of Unmatched allows you to embody King Arthur, Alice in Wonderland, Medusa or Sinbad the Sailor. Each character is accompanied by Allied tokens, and above all by a deck of cards of his own, offering many particularly effective combos.
Explosive asymmetry
In each round of the game, players must perform two of the three available actions. Moving the miniatures on the board, attacks or stratagems: actions are induced by the cards you have in your hand. These allow you to attack, defend yourself or activate special abilities related to your hero powers. For example, Alice can grow or shrink, Medusa can petrify her opponents, and so on.
Fast and tactical
Confrontations are as fast as they are fierce, with a fluid and intuitive turn of play. Each player must find the best placement on the battlefield so that they can attack their opponent in melee or from a distance. The attack and defense cards are played face down and the damage taken can be modified by the text of the cards played. The suspense is total until the cards are revealed, which is always a very tense moment.
