Description
In Eastern religions, Samsāra represents the cycle of successive rebirths. One is born, lives, dies, then is reborn until one can reach Nirvāna and be freed from successive existences.
In Samsara, your character will live multiple lives, during which you will choose to focus on different stages: his childhood, his couple, the experience of death...
These choices will allow you to enrich his soul, to improve his karma. Through your actions, you will also accumulate good and bad karma, which will influence your abilities. If you are the first to recover five Amulets of Eternity, you will reach Nirvana and win the game.
In concrete terms, Samsara uses the principle of deck-building, coupled with a pawn moving system. Each turn, you get an action card, which you add to your hand. These cards are used both to play actions (draw, retrieve other cards, etc.), and to buy the Amulets of Eternity, which is the purpose of the game. Some actions also allow you to retrieve good karma cards: they are used as jokers for the purchases of the Amulets of Eternity.
In Samsara, as in life, there are often several ways to perform an action: a good and a bad one. The maid is less effective, but does not dirty your karma. The bad one will be easier but will force you to take bad karma cards. These cards are cumbersome malus, and it is very difficult to get rid of them.
