Tavern Tales - Legends of Dungeon Drop

After your perilous fall into the dungeon, you're invited back to the Traveler's Tavern to drink a good gingerbrew and share an evening of heroic tales with the local populace. Complete your dungeon crawl with Tales from the Tavern, as you and your companions compare your exploits in a strategic game of bragging rights and one-upmanship!

In this fast-paced card game of item collection and subtle bluffing, 2-5 heroes strive to become the most famous hero in epic legends!

Tavern Tales is played over a variable number of rounds. On each turn, players take turns as follows:

STEP 1: Using your hand of hero cards, claim your right. Select one of the locations in play and list the treasures you claim to have found or the number of monsters you have killed at that location.

STEP 2: Challenge your companions. The other players can now use their hand of hero cards to challenge your claim and try to claim the glory.

STEP 3: Turn your stories into legends. After a bit of bidding and strategic bluffing, a final winner of the claim is declared. That player collects the contested treasure or monster cards and scores points based on the number of identical cards they have already collected. Through this card collection aspect, players are encouraged to stay ahead on one or more claim types in order to win.

The game ends when a player has achieved enough fame to become the most famous hero in Epic Legends!
