In the drowned forest are the ruins of the City. Before the hunger of our ancestors poisoned the world, we called it home. For generations it has been a source of reclamation. But maybe, just maybe, it holds the clues we need to fix this broken world...

Foundlings is a post-apocalyptic fantasy game about anthropomorphic survivors living on the edge of the ruins of their once great civilization. It's about learning from the past in order to find some hope for the future.

Foundlings uses a dice system based on the D10 system, in which players roll all the dice. The results are not binary successes or failures: a Foundling can succeed with a good or bad critical roll...

The Foundlings are the survivors who have managed to make a living on the bangs of the polluted forest that their ancestors once called home. Foundlings live in diaspora, and come in all shapes and sizes. The colonies to which they belong are equally varied; some are ruthless survivalists, but most seek to live a caring life.

 The chaos that followed the breakdown of the Stone lasted for generations. The ruins of their ancestral home, the city, played a vital role in their survival: they salvaged what they could despite the dangers. Repairing, remaking and modifying broken objects into useful items helped them avoid disaster.  Only now that the Foundlings have managed to gather a patchwork of settlements and villages have some begun to look to the home of their ancestors for something more than salvaged items, and wonder if anything can be done to heal the wound.
